I've been crazy busy this week and haven't had any time to swatch! I did a lot of that today though, so I have some new swatches for you. :)

A England: The Legends Collection

Saturday, March 22, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

Hello! Today I have three polishes from the A England Legends Collection: Ascalon, Princess Tears, and Saint George. I don't have too many A England polishes so far, but the ones I do have are amazing. My only grief with A England is that I find that their polishes have this weird scent... like vinegar mixed with ammonia. Now, I have an abnormally acute sense of smell so take that for what it is. I doubt most people would be able to smell it at all or if they do it's quite faint.

Colors by Llarowe: Bea Stings and Young Turks

Wednesday, March 19, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

Okay, so I know I've done a bunch of Colors by Llarowe so far, but every time I find myself going to swatch I find myself drifting towards her polishes first. They're so sparkly and pretty! Today I have two polishes from her Spring collection: Bea Stings! and Young Turks. These are the only two I've picked up so far because I really shouldn't buy more than a few polishes at a time. lol

Color Club: Take Wing Collection

Monday, March 17, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

Hello! Today I have Color Club's Take Wing Collection that was released for Summer 2012. This collection has six glass fleck polishes: Wing Fling, Sparkle and Soar, Daisy Does It, Fly With Me, Metamorphosis, and Sky High. The formula on all of these polishes is a bit thin and all the colors will require building unless you use a base color. I will be layering all of these in the future.

Wing Fling is a bright, fuchsia-y pink. This is four coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.

Different Dimension: Dueling Unicorns & Lucky

Saturday, March 15, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

Hello there! It feels good to be updating again. I've been away from home all week and hadn't had a chance to swatch or blog at all. But! I stopped home yesterday and grabbed some polish, my laptop, and my camera. So I'm going to sit around do some swatching at my boyfriend's house today while I watch the dogs. :) Today I have two Different Dimension polishes for you: Dueling Unicorns and Lucky.

Dueling Unicorns is a linear purple holographic polish. The application of this polish is very smooth, but the polish itself is a little sheer so you'll definitely need 2-3 coats. This is three coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.

Colors by Llarowe: Rockin' My Juju, Unorthodox Annie, and This Girl is on Fire... Help!

Sunday, March 09, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

Today I have three more Colors by Llarowe polishes for you. I am absolutely in love with her holographic polishes (and boy does she have a lot of them)! So today we have Rockin' my Juju, Unorthodox Annie, and This Girl is on Fire... Help!. I'm going to say right now that the formula and application on all of these is amazing. Like butter. Sweet delicious, beautifully pigmented butter.

Rockin' My Juju is a holographic multi chrome that shifts from blue to pink to purple to copper. I love this color. It's so full of beautiful colors no matter what lighting you're in. It's just stunning all around. This is two coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.

CrowsToes: Taygete

Saturday, March 08, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

Hello! Today I have CrowsToes Taygete from their Pleiades Collection. This collection has been out for a while now and this is the only polish I own from it (though I fully intend to buy a few others). Taygete is a duochrome that shifts from purple to pink. The pink is more subtle and noticeable only in certain lighting. The shimmer in this polish is absolutely stunning. These photos are two thin coats of Taygete over black with a top coat of Seche Vite.

China Glaze: Sea Goddess Collection

Friday, March 07, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

Hello! Today I have swatches for four of the six polishes from the China Glaze Sea Goddess Collection. I didn't pick up two of the colors simply because I didn't particularly care for them and didn't think they would look very good with my skin tone. All six of the polishes in this collection are textures.

Sinful Colors

Thursday, March 06, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

I am so totally over this polar vortex, snow and depressing winter weather... so I decided to swatch some bright, cheery colors! I almost decided to do some neons since myself and several of the ladies at the office decided to wear florescent pink yesterday (totally unplanned). On Wednesdays we wear pink! Today I have five miscellaneous Sinful Colors polishes for you: Pink Forever, Pink Poppys, Innocent, Hip To Be Square, and Jolt.

Pink Forever is a bubblegum pink creme. The formula on Sinful Colors polishes is a bit thin, but that's not really unexpected when they're $1.99 a bottle. This is three coats of Pink Forever topped with Seche Vite. First coat was patchy and streaky, but it builds easily.

I decided to add some bling to the mani I did last night, so I added Color Club Sugarplum Fairy to it. I also learned that the new light in the laundry room is so bright that it's like being outside. It seems promising for swatching.

CrowsToes: Storms Never Last

Monday, March 03, 2014 Unknown 0 Comments

For the first time today I broke out the lens kit I got for Christmas and decided to try out my new pretties. I'm still going to have to break down and buy something better, but these take decent enough close ups that I decided to finally start swatching.

I don't have too many CrowsToes polishes, but I absolutely love all the ones I do have. Today I have Storms Never Last for you. Unfortunately neither of these pictures are taken in sunlight (and I don't have a lightbox yet) because it was snowing like crazy all day today. So both of these are taken in artificial indoor lighting.
